SCS Sisters Challenge #1

I am finally feeling better! Thanks for all the well wishes and nice comments! Thank you amoxicillin! It is a beautiful day here in Kansas City and it looks like spring (although it could change)!

I made this card for the first challenge of the SCS SU Sisters Blog Group! (Say that 5 times fast!) The challenge was to make a monochromatic card so of course I chose pink! And nothing goes better with pink than glitter! The larger flower was stamped with versamark on Pretty in Pink paper and embossed with Iridescent Ice. The second was stamped on Whisper White paper. I don't have all the craft inks yet so I inked the stamp with versamark first and then with Pretty in Pink Classic and embossed with Iridescent Ice EP. I wanted the larger flower to be just a little darker and I couldn't stamp off because I was embossing with versamark. It is hard to tell in this photo but the piece of white is embossed with the Sizzix texturz plate. The Thank You banner I copied from someone's blog but again I can't remember whose!? Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I did not make a St. Patty's Day card but thought I would post a card that had green in it. I do not want my blog to get pinched!
I copied this card from someone, somewhere but I did not save a copy of the original so if it is yours let me know and I will give you credit.
These flowers & leaves are from the stamp set Petal Pizazz. I stamped them in versamark and embossed them with Iridescent Ice. The sentiment is from a hostess set and the definition stamp is from Bloomin' Beautiful. Paper colors are Tangerine Tango, Summer Sun, Pink Pirouette, Garden Green and the Whisper White Top Note is layered on Baja Breeze!
I love sparkles! and glitter! and rhinestones! Now that I see this card on the "Big Screen" I like it even better. I think I am going to make another with different colors.
