SCS Sisters Challenge #1

I am finally feeling better! Thanks for all the well wishes and nice comments! Thank you amoxicillin! It is a beautiful day here in Kansas City and it looks like spring (although it could change)!

I made this card for the first challenge of the SCS SU Sisters Blog Group! (Say that 5 times fast!) The challenge was to make a monochromatic card so of course I chose pink! And nothing goes better with pink than glitter! The larger flower was stamped with versamark on Pretty in Pink paper and embossed with Iridescent Ice. The second was stamped on Whisper White paper. I don't have all the craft inks yet so I inked the stamp with versamark first and then with Pretty in Pink Classic and embossed with Iridescent Ice EP. I wanted the larger flower to be just a little darker and I couldn't stamp off because I was embossing with versamark. It is hard to tell in this photo but the piece of white is embossed with the Sizzix texturz plate. The Thank You banner I copied from someone's blog but again I can't remember whose!?
