Here is another artsy attempt. There are some stray marks but I worked so hard on it that I decided to post it anyway. I also learned that quality makes a difference. I used an off brand embossing pen that went on blue and was supposed to dry clear-notice the blue background in the flowers. It actually looked cool on the vase but not on on the flowers. I have a versamark pen ordered! My clear embossing powder did not emboss evenly but I am not sure if that is because it is old or if it is because of the off brand embossing pen.
The flowers were colored using blender pens and ink from classic ink pads; the colors are ruby red and pumpkin pie. The center of each flower is colored using more mustard marker. I then outlined the stamens with chocolate chip marker and outlined each flower with the corresponding color marker. The vase was a large shadow stamp from the retired SU set The Shape of Things. I rocked it in bordering blue classic ink to make the outside darker. The background was sponged using post it notes for clean edges. The top background is soft sky, which I sponged.
Paper: whisper white, always artichoke, ruby red
Ink: ruby red, pumpkin pie, always artichoke, so saffron, soft sky, bordering blue,
Markers: chocolate chip, ruby red, pumpkin pie, more mustard,
Accessories: blender pens, old olive polytwill ribbon, embossing pen, clear EP
