I have a new toy and I love it. It cuts, it perforates, it scores (no it's not a football), and most importantly IT DISTRESSES (paper that is)!!! I had a stamp club member ask me about the cutter kit from SU and I had seen it demonstrated but did not own it sooooo I decided to buy it and try it. This is a great set of tools. The perforating tool works better than the one I have now, the cutting tool is great for cutting curvy lines and the distressing tool works so much better than your fingernails. This card came together quickly!!I don't use blush blossom very often but happened to have a stray piece out on my table. The heart is chipboard covered with DP. The flowers were watercolored with markers.
Now if only this cutter kit could cook . . .
Paper: mellow moss, blush blossom, natural white, retired DP
Ink: mellow moss, creamy caramel (on the edges of natural white)
Markers: mellow moss, blush blossom, so saffron

The card is adorable! I keep tossing around the idea of getting one of those cutters. The more I think about it the more I think I should!
Noticed you are from KCMO. We lived there from 1999-2003. We enjoyed it.
I love this card. I have been so tempted by those cutters. May have to break down and do it. TFS.
I agree about the cutter kit. I distress everything now! Love your blog!
Oooh! That's really pretty!
Oh! I love the top part of the card. Makes it kind of look like a window
shade.
Ugh. So not into making something pink and shiny( per your request on my blog.) I am, however, up to my fingernails in blood red paint and collaging papers on a canvas. That more befits my mood. I'll eventually get to pink. You're a sweetie. Thanks for the encouragement. I'll see you Friday.
