I made lots of these simple little Christmas tags to sell at the Apple Festival-a craft show that benefits Missouri Baptist Children's Home. The tag on the bottom was cut with the Two Tags Sizzix die from Stampin' Up!™. The snowflake was cut using the Northern Frost Sizzix die from Stampin' Up! I used some metallic string from my stash to wrap around the scallops and some retired Stampin' Up! colors (Kiwi Kiss, Taken with Teal, Ruby Red).
I am not sure why but I didn't sell all of them this year like I usually do-I thought these were better than last year but...? Maybe I can give them as gifts????

A Little Doily Cover-Up!
What do you do when your extra large stamp doesn't stamp cleanly???? Cover it up of course!!! I have a confession to make; I am background stamp challenged! Yes, it's true I only own two background stamps (Medallion and Hello Doily!) and I struggle with them every time I use them. This time the middle of the doily stamp did not stamp cleanly so I used the Stampin' Up!™ set called Delicate Doilies and a punched scallop circle to create the piece in the middle.

Another CASE!
This is one of the cards we made at Stamp Club this month. I love to color stamps with markers! It lets me pretend I am creating art! I am going to let you in on a little secret; I rubber stamp because I have the heart of an artist without the talent!
I used More Mustard and Cajun Craze Stampin' Write markers to color the flower and Garden Green to color the stem and leaves. When you use two colors on the same stamp be sure to use the lighter color first. The ribbon is the luscious Chocolate Chip Scallop Dots ribbon; it has polka dots on one side and solid color on the other with just a little ruffle on the top and bottom.
Off to unpack and sort the latest stamp club order! I have some new paper to play with-can't wait!
