I am posting this spring card to remind myself that it is actually spring although there is about 6 inches of snow on the ground outside. Yep! Yesterday, here in Kansas City, we had a Spring Snow and not just a dusting but a whole day of cold wet rain, freezing rain, sleet and on top of that 6 inches of wet slushy snow! I was going to take photos but couldn't find my camera. Then I realized I had left it in the van and retrieving it would mean going out in the afore mentioned weather. Luckily it is warmer today and the stuff is already melting but it is March 29th for crying out loud!!!!! I mean I had already put the gloves away, and the boots and pulled out the gardening tools. Geeesh!!!

This should have been a quick card but for some reason I agonized over it. Maybe it was late or it was one of the last cards I put together not sure? I designed this card for my Stamp-a-Stack and I wanted a card that used purple because one of my customer's DD loves purple. I actually like Lovely Lilac but don't use it often. I used some retired DSP and the flower is the Sizzix die cut Flower Layers #3. The ribbon is white taffeta and the stamp in the middle is from the Seeing Spots stamp set.

Here's to warmer weather!!!
