Inspired by Gretchen Barron

I am officially exhausted and to top it all off tonight is the start of Daylight Savings and we lose an hour! Whose idea was this??? I work part time in retail and it is either feast or famine. Last week I worked only one day-this week I will be working 7 days in a row. Ugh! Okay, this is beginning to feel like a real job. the worst part is-no time to stamp! So I just CASE'd a lovely card by the very talented Gretchen Barron HERE.
The card base is Old Olive paired with some Melon Mambo and a little DSP from the FREE SAB kit called Ice Cream Parlor. The main panel was made with a technique called Embedded Embossing.
I simply
glued the punched images to the Melon Mambo panel and ran it through the Big Shot with the Square
Lattice EF.
Off to soak my poor aching feet! I need chocolate, chocolate and ice cream, no wait hot fudge sundae-do you think they deliver??????

Love it. I'll have to try that with running all the layers through and see what i come up with sometime. :)

I hear you on the working 1 day a week and then turn around and you got all kinds of days.

and then they wonder why im always up so late everyday most of my craft mojo happens late at night with working so many nights.

Beautiful. I love that embossing. You could take a very simple card and really glam it up that way.
