Pulled out my Day of Gratitude set and used the medallion to make the main image. I inked the stamp using daubers because I wanted a softer stamped image. The middle is one of those lovely Antique brads. The lacy border was is a piece of DSP from
Spice Cake (again!) that was punched with the Lace Ribbon Border Punch and threaded some Chocolate Chip grosgrain through it.
I am making progress on my Christmas preparations in spite of working 8 days in a row!!!! My Christmas tree is still not up but my cards are ready for the Post Office, presents are purchased (not wrapped...) and anyone who knows me knows I don't bake (Mrs. Smith's pies are as close to home baked as I get). I still need to make some ornaments for an ornament exchange. And I really need to get that tree up.......

This is a stunner! Love that color combo!
I like this! Never thought to ink a stamp with sponge daubers ... neat idea! Your card looks great with that technique ... thanks for sharing that tip!
I love this flower..So elegant, gorgeous card.
very pretty and elegant card
Another gorgeous card Rhonda! I don't use my Day of Gratitude set enough. Thank you for the inspiration. There is nothing wrong with Mrs. Smith or Sara Lee or in my case ... Donna Lee. I don't think my husband knows the difference.
This is such a gorgeous card! I have tons of those daubers and never use them. I'll have to try this technique.
