A Little Doily Cover-Up!
What do you do when your extra large stamp doesn't stamp cleanly???? Cover it up of course!!! I have a confession to make; I am background stamp challenged! Yes, it's true I only own two background stamps (Medallion and Hello Doily!) and I struggle with them every time I use them. This time the middle of the doily stamp did not stamp cleanly so I used the Stampin' Up!™ set called Delicate Doilies and a punched scallop circle to create the piece in the middle.
How do you like the ribbon? I used a Riding Hood Red Stampin' Write marker and a ruler to edge a piece of Crumb Cake seam binding ribbon. The embossed piece was made with the Stampin' Up! Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. So, don't throw away that mistake just cover it up!

Love, love, love the layout and the colors you chose! Absolutely gorgeous!
Sometimes our mistakes turn out to be better than the original. This is definitely the case with this card. This is STUNNING, Rhonda! Love the colors you used!

Lovin' I say LOVIN' this card! Very pretty! TFS!!!
Rhonda,
This is gorgeous and it caught my eye right away. What a beautiful design with the new doily stamp.
Nice card. We would never know about the cover up if you didn't tell us.
Well, of course! I can never get them to stamp right, anyway, so just plan on it being part of the "look."
***sigh***
