Zoo Review!
This handsome fella is from my newest Stampin' Up!™ set called Zoo Review. All the animals in this set are great! I pulled out my much neglected Stampin' pastels and blender pens to color the giraffe after stamping him on Naturals White with Black Stazon™. The card base is Soft Suede with a textured panel of So Saffron. My inspiration card was made by Jennifer Weide HERE.
I am busy getting the last of my cards made for The Apple Festival. The Apple Festival is a craft show and quilt auction that benefits The Missouri Baptist Children's home in Peculiar, MO. Each year I donate about 300-400 cards that I have made but this year I think I only have about 200. I am frantically making some Christmas tags to donate also! My basement and I are covered in glitter!

Wild Wasabi and Melon Mambo Flowers
I for one am glad that our recent heat wave has ended! I am finally able to relax again on my deck without suffocating or falling over with heat exhaustion! I love sitting out on my deck in the evening but until recently it was too hot even at night!
Initially the embossed panel was going to be larger but I accidentally forgot to heat emboss a couple of the flowers and then rubbed over them with my fingers and got embossing powder over that section of the paper. Yeah, it was a mess and I had to cut most of the bottom off. But at least I didn't get mad and throw it away! The flowers and leaves were heat embossed using Wild Wasabi and Melon Mambo embossing powders from Stampin' Up!™
Remember heat embossing is magic!!

More Double Embossing!
Here is another card using the double embossing technique. This time I used some Real Red DSP from the Brights paper pack and embossed it with Black embossing powder. The flowers were embossed using Real Red craft ink and Clear embossing powder, the leaves were embossed with Wild Wasabi embossing powder.
Anyone else glad the heat wave has lessened? We actually got some rain yesterday and again today, too late for my garden to recover but still nice.

Daffodil Delight Meets Love & Care
Whew!!! I am working way too many hours-it is definitely infringing upon my stamping time!!
I love the images in this Stampin' Up!™ set called Love & Care from the Summer Mini Catalog. I pulled out my much neglected Stampin' Pastels to color the flower and leaves after stamping them with Versamark™. Versamark is great to use with pastels and it sets them so they do not smudge. You can also use a blender pen to color with the pastels-great way to get all 40 of Stampin' Up! colors! Colors are Garden Green, Daffodil Delight, and Pumpkin Pie.
