Layered Medallion

Here's hoping everyone had a great Mother's Day. Unfortunately I had to work most of the day but I went to lunch with my DS on Friday and my DD gave me a sack full of goodies: Reese's Pieces, Tostitos Spinach Dip, Tostitos Touch of Lime chips, Diet Coke with Lime and a Cherry Limeade from Sonic.

This is another card we made at stamp club. I was inspired by a card on Wendy's blog Wickedly Wonderful Creations. The card stock colors are Whisper White, Bashful Blue and Not Quite Navy. The main panel is Vellum embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder layered on a piece of Bashful Blue. The ribbon is the 1/8" Taffeta from Stampin' Up!

Yummy! Reminds me of the fancy frosting on some of the cakes now-a-days with all that texture!

The layer with the corner punches is really interesting to me - glad you posted this so I could see how it looks... and the vellum layer too!
